Gilda Turitz, Best Lawyers of America® 2025 Mediation “Lawyer of the Year” in San Francisco

"Some of the employment cases Laura has been assigned to mediate and successfully resolved more accurately could be characterized as commercial disputes and often are quite complex. I believe that in a short period of time, Laura has taken thoughtful, productive and affirmative steps to become involved with the mediation community and pursue opportunities.  I highly recommended Laura as a mediator."

"Laura did a great job.  She was efficient with time and persistent even when it looked like the case would not settle.  I recommend her for further cases.  Thank you for working to resolution."

Angel Garrett, Shareholder at Littler Mendelson, the world’s largest labor and employment law firm

“I believe that Laura’s intelligence and poise in various situations is what has led her to become a mediator and that she will thrive.  Using her experience as a litigator and what she learned through the mediation programs she attended, Laura mediated numerous cases and successfully settled most of her cases. In several instances, the cases were nuanced and both sides were reluctant to resolve the matter, despite agreeing to a settlement conference. However, Laura was able to help both parties come to an agreement, offering sound arguments and reasons that persuaded each party that it would be better to settle the matter rather than risk litigation.  Given that Laura is interested in employment disputes and her success to date in resolving such matters, I recommend her to my colleagues. ”
